I belive there is still nothing like it, among manga, anime or movies. It’s still pretty much in it’s own category. NGE is confusing to many, but you just need some time to figure it all out, and a little help of wikipedia, as I drained it dry for info XD Makes it even better

Not really, the story for EVA is heavily convoluted and makes little to no sense to someone sound of mine (Biblical references with Mecha guerrilla warfare does not = deep moving plot) not to mention near all the characters have a /wrists mental crippling disorder for some reason (yes I know it gets covered but still) oh yeah and the annoying screaming ugh, I’ll give EVA credit as it was revolutionary for it’s time though oh yeah and
