    I should note I’ve noticed in some of DT’s concerts earlier in their career Portnoy seems to have opted for louder bass drum sounds, and I think that was a good choice.

    I like the balance in this video. I think the keyboard in DT should be the instrument that stands out the most since it has the most melodic capability. I like the relatively low guitar sound here, but I would raise the bass a little higher than the guitar; Portnoy should have more bass drum sound and less cymbal.
